At Lifebridge, we believe that admission into hospital care should feel safe, respectful, and reassuring. From the moment you arrive to the time you are discharged, our team is committed to guiding you with warmth and professionalism.

🚨 Emergency Admissions

For urgent cases, please come directly to our Emergency Department, open 24/7.

  • Our triage team will prioritize immediate care.

  • Insurance pre-authorization can be completed after stabilization, ensuring no delay in life-saving treatment

📝 Admission Process

1. Booking / Referral

  • Your doctor may book a bed or provide a referral note.

  • For elective admissions (surgery, maternity, dialysis, etc.), confirm your date with our Admissions Desk.

2. Pre-Authorization

  • If insured, bring your insurance card and national ID for benefits verification.

  • For SHA/SHIF or private pay, our admissions team will guide you through coverage and co-pay requirements.

3. Registration

  • Provide identification and complete consent forms.

  • A wristband will be issued to ensure patient safety and correct identification throughout your stay.

4. Admission & Orientation

  • You’ll be escorted to your ward or private room.

  • Our staff will orient you to visiting hours, meal times, and nurse call systems.

  • Your care team will personally introduce themselves, ensuring you feel supported and informed.

 

🎒 What to Bring

To make your stay comfortable and efficient, please carry:

  • National ID / Passport (for patient and next of kin)

  • Insurance card / SHA/SHIF details and authorization letter (if applicable)

  • Doctor’s admission note / referral letter and prior test results

  • Personal items (toiletries, slippers, light robe) — kindly avoid valuables

  • Long-term medication list in original containers, if possible
